Pigments in Pastel

Pastel are usually in a stick form,a kind of chalk. This
pigments it makes with pure powdered pigment and an inert binder, with this we get a luminous colour.

There are two kinds of pastel:soft and hard.Soft pastel have more pigment,so is more easier to work with him.Hard pastel have less pigment.

If you want to make your own pastels is a bit more
complicated than making acrylic paints or watercolor paints.
